2003-08-20 - 8:29 a.m. Goood Morning! Slept over Britts' last night, fun fun. Fixed my computer, her dad's laptop, and even managed a way around the problem with the office computer by getting a new browser, since the problem seems to lie only with Internet Explorer and we couldn't delete it. We also managed to fill up most of the hard drive on my computer with music. The band preview yesterday was awesome. The show is going to be soo good. It was great to see evryone again. The whole band is so tan! I saw Chad, and we talked about how weird it's going to be for him to be Mr. Hunter now. Although I won't have him in class, I guess I can't call him Chad in school. Britt and I stayed up late talking about stuff. Everything is so depressing now. The rest of the summer is going to suck. Anyway, it won't be like it was before. And this coming school year...blah. Uniforms, being a senior, the extreme lack of decent guys...not fun. *sigh* Isn't being 17 supposed to be the high point of your life? Cuz it's not there yet..I'm waiting. So I'm playing yahoo pool. I'm severely out of practice. I can't make Virtual Pool work, and Matt's down the shore, so he can't tell me what's wrong with it...*sigh*. Yahoo pool is fun except people keep hitting on me. Maybe I should say I'm a 53 year old construction worker from Montana. Right now a 29 year old guy from Sudan keeps saying it's "nice to know you." I keep trying to tell him he doesn't know me. I keep telling Britt that she and I should go to the pool hall by ourselves and practice. There's no rule saying that we have to go with Matt or Burns. I think it would be really fun to go play pool by ourselves. And I don't see why we shouldn't. The thing that sucks now is that neither of us can drive, so if the two of us go out, we need to get parent rides, which means they know where we are and we can't stay out very late. Then when the band season starts, no one will want to go out at all. Oh well such is the life.
