2004-09-02 - 12:35 p.m. kill me! seriously! why does NOTHING ever work out the way i need it to? you know, the other day, i was like, o this diamond dollar thing is great, i never have to carry cash. except it's NOT excepted everywhere on campus, which i understand, but they should tell you that you can't buy important thinsg like tokens. because you can't. well, you can at 7 11, but they dont seem to care about rules. the bookstore however, well, they're just a bunch of hardasses. and i have no tokens. and i have no cash. so here are my options. i can sit here and waste my entire day and whine instead of doing something productive about the situation. i can go to student services, which britt suggested. (i'm assuming she asked her mom) i can wait until i hope my mom is home with cash and take a cab home. i can take a cab to a friend's house and bum money off of them. i can sleep on a park bench i can stay in this 24 hour comp lab all damn day and go to class tomorrow without the right books. *** i think i'll go to student services in a bit. ***** on the upside, it's a lovely day, there's a pretty decent band of old guys playing outside, and i *should* be getting a check for $1420 today. irony, how i love thee.
